Tailored 1:1 Courses for Children
At Approach Education, we understand that some children face barriers that classroom teaching alone can’t overcome. That’s why we’ve developed The ‘Exploring’ Approach – a compassionate, personalised 1:1 service designed to help young people reconnect with learning and thrive.
Led by Director Emma (27+ years in education including headship), our team works directly with children and their school to identify and address key challenges, offering clear guidance for next steps.
Our Course Themes Include:
Exploring Behaviours Which Challenge
Helping children identify and reflect on the reasons behind challenging behaviours, building emotional literacy and self-regulation strategies.
Exploring Anxieties
Working 1:1 to gently unpick fears and worries around school, home or social situations, and build effective coping tools.
Exploring and Building My Confidence
A supportive journey toward building self-worth, self-belief and resilience in learning and life.
Exploring My SEND Needs
Helping students understand and embrace their learning profile, with tools to self-advocate and succeed.
Exploring My School Fears
Addressing specific fears linked to school environments, including bullying, sensory overload or previous trauma.
Exploring Internal Truancy
Supporting children who are physically present in school but mentally checked out – helping to reignite their motivation and connection.
Exploring Low Attendance
Working with students and schools to remove blocks and rebuild positive routines for regular school attendance.
Exploring My Transition to Secondary School
Helping Year 6 and 7 pupils transition confidently and positively into new school settings.
